Prince George, BC – The Brink Group (‘Brink’) announced today that it has acquired Interior Warehousing Ltd. (‘Interior’), a leading distribution services company with nearly 150,000 square feet of commercial warehousing space in Prince George.
Interior’s 50-year reputation and innovative approach to business fits well with the Brink Group, which has embarked on an aggressive growth strategy in both its lumber manufacturing and real estate divisions. Over the past 10 years, Brink has made substantial investments to increase its lumber production capacity. Not only did it add production facilities to its plant in Prince George, but it also acquired a plant in Vanderhoof. Furthermore, Brink expanded its real estate arm by acquiring a real estate agency as well as developing a number of subdivisions in the area.
“My partners and I are very excited for Interior Warehousing to become a part of the Brink Group. I have known John Brink for many years and believe that this is positive news for both our employees and clients” said Don Engelsjord, speaking on behalf of the shareholders of Interior.
